Dr. Jonathan Galloway, Associate Dean (International), Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Senior Lecture in Law, University of Newcastle upon Tyne and his colleague visited our school. Prof. They were having a meeting with Prof. Dongdong Wang, A/Prof. Liangliang Wang, A/Prof. Xinye Wu, A/Prof. Zhe Yang and A/Prof. Ruoxi Zhang.
Firstly, both sides briefly introduced their basic information, and traced the cooperation and exchanges between two institutions in the past seven years. Then, the meeting focused on the future direction of cooperation. Based on the existing Linked Programme Agreement, the two institutions advised to expand the majors that students can apply, provided the staff exchange opportunities and encouraged the research collaboration.
Our two universities established friendly and cooperative relations in Architecture and Urban Planning and Design areas can go back at least 7 years. We believe that this meeting will further boost friendly relations of cooperation between our two institutions.
